Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his army, “Depart in the name of Allah, and with Allah, upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah. Do not kill elders, nor children, nor young ones, nor women. Do not plunder, but rather collect your spoils. Behave righteously and in the best manner. Verily, Allah loves those who behave in the best manner.”

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لجيشه انْطَلِقُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا شَيْخًا فَانِيًا وَلَا طِفْلًا وَلَا صَغِيرًا وَلَا امْرَأَةً وَلَا تَغُلُّوا وَضُمُّوا غَنَائِمَكُمْ وَأَصْلِحُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
