Abu Mahdhurah reported: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught the call to prayer like this, “Allah is the greatest. Allah is greatest. I bear witness there is no God but Allah. I bear witness there is no God but Allah. I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Then, it is repeated, saying, “I bear witness there is no God but Allah. I bear witness there is no God but Allah. I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Come to prayer, twice. Come to success, twice.” Ishaq added, “Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest. There is no God but Allah.”

عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَّمَهُ هَذَا الْأَذَانَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فَيَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ مَرَّتَيْنِ زَادَ إِسْحَقُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
