Hadith on Tawheed: Must reject false gods to complete faith

Tariq ibn Ashyam reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever says there is no God but Allah, and disbelieves in what is worshiped besides Allah, his property and his life are sacred and he will be held accountable to Allah.”

In another narration, the Prophet said, “Whoever declares Allah is one…”

عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ أَشْيَمَ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَكَفَرَ بِمَا يُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ حَرُمَ مَالُهُ وَدَمُهُ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ

وفي رواية أخرى قال مَنْ وَحَّدَ اللَّهَ
