Aisha reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would stand for prayer at night, he would begin by saying, “O Allah, the Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfel, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants in that over which they differ. Guide me, by Your will, in what they differ over the truth. Verily, You guide whomever You will to the straight path.”
