Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If Allah wills goodness for His servant, He hastens the punishment for him in this world. If Allah wills harm for His servant, He withholds punishment for his sins until he appears on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, with greater rewards come greater trials. If Allah loves a people, He will put them to trial. Whoever is content will be pleasing to Allah, and whoever is displeased will be displeasing to Allah.”
