Hadith on Isra’iliyat: The Prophet narrates Israelite stories

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would narrate stories about the children of Israel until the morning came. The Prophet would not stand up but for the greatness of prayer.
