Sa’id ibn Jubary reported: Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Allah Almighty said: You are the best nation brought forth for people (3:110). They are those who emigrated with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from Mecca to Medina.”
