Hadith on Faith: Treat people how you love to be treated

Abu al-Muntafiq reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me what will save me from the punishment of Allah and admit me into Paradise.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish the prescribed prayers, give the obligatory charity, perform the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, and fast the month of Ramadan. Look at the way you would love people to treat you and do so to them, and whatever you would hate for them to do to you, spare them of it.
