Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Straighten the rows of prayer or else Allah will surely disfigure your faces.”

Al-Nawawi said, “The meaning is that it will put hostility and hatred between the hearts, and that will show on the faces.”
