Sa’d ibn Abu Waqqas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, set out to Tabuk and he left Ali behind. Ali said, “You leave me behind with the women and children?” The Prophet said, “Are you not pleased in the same position for me as Aaron was to Moses? But there is no prophet after me.”
