Hadith on Intercession: The Prophet delays his supplication for the Hereafter

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every prophet has a supplication that is answered and has hastened his supplication. I will delay my supplication as intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection. It is granted, if Allah wills, to whoever dies in my nation not associating anything with Allah.”
