Umar on Salat: No praying if you need to relieve yourself

Zayd ibn Aslam reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Let not one of you pray while holding his bowels.”

عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رضي الله عنه قَالَ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ ضَامٌّ بَيْنَ وَرِكَيْهِ
