Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The world is enjoyment and the best enjoyment in the world is a righteous wife.”

Imam Ibn al-Malak commented, “The best enjoyment of this worldly life is a righteous woman, for she is a source of tranquility and companionship for her husband, she protects him from what is unlawful, assists him in his religion, and more as well.”
