Ya’mar al-‘Uthri reported: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, the incantations we use, the medicines which heal us, and our fortifications against the enemy; do they repel anything from the decree of Allah?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “They are part of the decree of Allah.”
