Abu Huraira reported: While a man was praying with his garment draped below himself, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Go and perform ablution.” The man went and performed ablution, then he came to the Prophet. The Prophet said, “Go and perform ablution.” The man went and performed ablution, then he came back to the Prophet. Another man said to him, “O Messenger of Allah, why did you order him to perform ablution again?” The Prophet said, “Verily, he was praying with his garment draped below himself. Allah Almighty does not accept the prayer of a man who drapes his garment.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي مُسْبِلًا إِزَارَهُ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْهَبْ فَتَوَضَّأْ فَذَهَبَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَتَوَضَّأْ فَذَهَبَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا لَكَ أَمَرْتَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ مُسْبِلٌ إِزَارَهُ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَا يَقْبَلُ صَلَاةَ رَجُلٍ مُسْبِلٍ إِزَارَهُ
