Hadith on Dua: The Prophet’s supplication for returning home

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, returned from an outing, he would exalt Allah three times and say, “We are returning, if Allah wills, repenting, worshiping, praising, prostrating. Allah was true to his promise, he supported his servant, and he alone defeated the confederates.

In another narration, the Prophet said, “There is no God but Allah, without any partner. To him belong the dominion and praise, and he has power over all things.”
