Hadith on Visiting: Angels bless those who visit the ill

Umm Salamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When you visit a sick or dying person, supplicate for goodness. Verily, the angels will affirm whatever you said.”

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حَضَرْتُمْ الْمَرِيضَ أَوْ الْمَيِّتَ فَقُولُوا خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ
