Hadith on Satan: Praise be to Allah, who repels evil whisperer

Ibn Abbas reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, one of us has thoughts within himself, suggesting something that would make him love to be reduced to charcoal rather than to speak of it.” The Prophet said, “Allah is the greatest! Allah is the greatest! Allah is the greatest! All praise is due to Allah, who has turned back the plot of the whisperer.”
