Hadith on Murder: Good deeds not accepted from killers

‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever kills a believer without a just cause, Allah will not accept any of his obligatory or voluntary good deeds.”

عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا فَاعْتَبَطَ بِقَتْلِهِ لَمْ يَقْبَلْ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا
