Hadith on Marriage: Marry the loving, fruitful to increase believers

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered us to get married and he strongly prohibited celibacy for us. The Prophet said, “Marry the loving and fertile. Verily, I will have most followers among the prophets on the Day of Resurrection.

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ وَيَنْهَى عَنْ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا وَقَالَ تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ إِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
