Hadith on Dua: Supplicate in prosperity if you want answer in adversity

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever would like for Allah to answer him during times of hardship and difficulty, let him supplicate often during times of ease.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْتَجِيبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ الشَّدَائِدِ وَالْكَرْبِ فَلْيُكْثِرْ الدُّعَاءَ فِي الرَّخَاءِ
