Hadith on Islam: Submit your heart to Allah, not harm people

‘Amr ibn ‘Abasah reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is Islam?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “That you surrender your heart to Allah and that Muslims are safe from your tongue and hand.” The man said, “Which act of Islam is best?” The Prophet said, “Faith.” The man said, “What is faith?” The Prophet said, “That you believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the resurrection after death.

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الْإِسْلَامُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ قَلْبُكَ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَنْ يَسْلَمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِكَ وَيَدِكَ قَالَ فَأَيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ الْإِيمَانُ قَالَ وَمَا الْإِيمَانُ قَالَ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ
