Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the first generations of this nation are the best of them, and the last of them are the worst of them in disputing and sectarianism. Thus, whoever has faith in Allah and the Last Day, let him meet his end while he treats people as he would love to be treated.”
