Abdur Rahman ibn Awf reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Satan, whom Allah has cursed, said: The owner of wealth will never be safe from me by one of three ways. I come to him with them and leave with them: His taking of wealth without permission, his spending it without right, and my making it so beloved to him that he obstructs its rightful use.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ لَنْ يَسْلَمَ مِنِّي صَاحِبُ الْمَالِ مِنْ إِحْدَى ثَلاثٍ أَغْدُو عَلَيْهِ بِهِنَّ وَأَرُوحُ بِهِنَّ أَخْذُهُ الْمَالَ مِنْ غَيْرِ حِلِّهِ وَإِنْفَاقُهُ فِي غَيْرِ حَقِّهِ وَأُحَبِّبُهُ إِلَيْهِ فَيَمْنَعُهُ مِنْ حَقِّهِ
