Abu Bakrah reported: He reached the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was bowing in prayer, so he bowed before joining the rows of prayer. It was mentioned to the Prophet, and he said, “May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do so again.”

Imam Ibn al-Munir commented, “The Prophet approved of the action of Abu Bakrah in a general sense, which was his eagerness to catch the virtue of congregational prayer, but he pointed out his mistake in respect to its details.”
