Hadith on Wudu: Perform acts of ablution three times each

Ali reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would perform acts of ablution three times.

Al-Tirmidhi said, “This is acted upon by the majority of scholars, that it permissible to perform ablution with one act each, it is better to perform it with two acts each, and it is best to perform it with three acts each; there is nothing better after this.”
