Hadith on Perfume: The perfume of men and women

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The perfume of men is that which scent is apparent and color is hidden. The perfume of women is that which scent is hidden and color is apparent.”

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

Sa’id said, “The perfume of women (mentioned here) is when she intends to leave her house. If she is inside with her husband, then she may wear whatever fragrance she wishes.”
