Hadith on Dua: Supplication for performing ablution

Abu Musa reported: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace an blessings be upon him, while he was performing ablution and I heard him supplicating, saying, “O Allah, forgive my sins, expand my abode, and bless me in my provision.” I said, “O Prophet of Allah, I heard you supplicating with these words.” The Prophet said, “Do they leave anything out?”

عن أبي موسى قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَوَضَّأَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُكَ تَدْعُو بِكَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ وَهَلْ تَرَكْنَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ
