Muhammad ibn Yahya reported: Wuhayb ibn al-Ward, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Woe to one who places his hopes in the world and sinful are his deeds, great is his violence and little is his intelligence, knowledgeable of the affairs of the world yet ignorant of the affairs of the Hereafter.”
