Al-Bayhaqi reported: Hatim al-Asamm, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Lusts are three types: lust in eating, lust in speaking, and lust in gazing. Guard your eating with confidence, your tongue with truthfulness, and your gaze with tears.”
