Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “While I was sleeping, I saw people displayed before me. They were wearing shirts, some of which covered their chests and some of which covered below that. Umar ibn al-Khattab passed by me and he was wearing a shirt dragging behind him.” They said, “What is its interpretation, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “The religion.”
