Ma’qil ibn Yasar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No one is appointed over the affairs of the Muslims and then he does not strive for them or show them good will but that he will never enter Paradise with them.”
In another narration, the Prophet said, “He does not protect them as he would protect himself and his family but that Allah will cast him into the fire of Hell.”
