Abdullah ibn Mughaffal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is gentle and he loves gentleness. He gives for it what is not given for harshness.”

Al-Azimabadi said, “Allah loves gentleness, meaning, kindness to his servants, desire to make things easy for them and not to desire hardship for them.”
