Hadith on Cruelty: Hellfire filled with mean, arrogant sinners

Suraqah ibn Ju’shum reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Suraqah, shall I tell you about the people of Paradise and Hellfire?” Suraqah said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “As for the people of Hellfire, it is everyone hard-hearted, cruel, and arrogant. As for the people of Paradise, they are the meek and downtrodden.”
