Hadith on Arrogance: Do not ask about three ruined people

Fadalah ibn ‘Ubayd reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not ask about three people: a man who competes for the robe of Allah Almighty, for His robe is grandeur and His garment is might, a man who doubts in the matter of Allah, and one who despairs of the mercy of Allah.

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Arna’ut

Al-Munawi said, “Do not ask about three people, meaning, they have been ruined.”
