Ibrahim al-Nakha’i reported: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, disapproved of hanging anything from the Quran around the neck.
Ibrahim said, “They disapproved of all types of amulets, whether it contained the Quran or not.”
