Hadith on Arrogance: The Prophet seeks refuge from Satan’s pride

Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed Satan, his madness, his pride, and his poetry.”

عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ وَهَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ
