Hadith on Dua: Be certain with mindfulness that Allah will answer

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The hearts are vessels and some have greater capacity than others. When you ask from Allah Almighty, O people, then ask Him while you are convinced He will answer. Verily, Allah does not answer the supplication of a servant from behind an unmindful heart.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْقُلُوبُ أَوْعِيَةٌ وَبَعْضُهَا أَوْعَى مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَاسْأَلُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالْإِجَابَةِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لِعَبْدٍ دَعَاهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ قَلْبٍ غَافِلٍ
