Hadith on Dua: O Allah, make me content with what I have

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to supplicate, “O Allah, make me content with what You have provided for me, bless me in it, and replace everything I do not have with something better.

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ قَنِّعْنِي بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ وَاخْلُفْ عَلَيَّ كُلَّ غَائِبَةٍ لِي بِخَيْرٍ
