Hadith on Dua: Supplication for entering the marketplace

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever enters the market and he says, ‘There is no God but Allah, alone without any partners. To Him belong the dominion and all praise, He causes life and death. He lives and does not die, all good is in His hand, and He is powerful over all things,’ Allah will record for him thousands of good deeds, erase thousands of bad deeds, and raise him by thousands of degrees.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ دَخَلَ السُّوقَ فَقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ وَمَحَا عَنْهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ سَيِّئَةٍ وَرَفَعَ لَهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ دَرَجَةٍ
