Abu ‘Abdillah al-Ash’ari reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a man who did not complete his bowings and rushed through his prostrations while praying. The Prophet said, “If he were to die in this state, he would have died upon other than the way of Muhammad. The parable of one who does not complete his bowings and rushes through his prostrations is that of a starving person, who eats only a morsel or two that does not suffice him at all.”

عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا لَا يُتِمَّ رُكُوعَهُ يَنْقُرُ فِي سُجُودِهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ مَاتَ هَذَا عَلَى حَالِهِ هَذِهِ مَاتَ عَلَى غَيْرِ مِلَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ مَثَلُ الَّذِي لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهُ ويَنْقُرُ فِي سُجُودِهِ مَثَلُ الْجَائِعِ يَأْكُلُ التَّمْرَةَ وَالتَّمْرَتَانِ لَا يُغْنِيَانِ عَنْهُ شَيْئًا
