Hadith on Quran: The Prophet supplicates between verses

Hudhayfah reported: I prayed one night with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he recited in a relaxed manner. If he passed by a verse glorifying Allah, he would glorify Him. If he passed by a verse of petition, he would ask Him. If he passed by a verse of refuge, he would seek refuge in Him.
