Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: We were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and we ran short of water. The Prophet said, “Bring the remaining water.” They brought a vessel with a little water in it. The Prophet placed his hands in the vessel, then he said, “Come to the blessed purification, a blessing from Allah.” I saw the water emanating from between the Prophet’s fingers, and we heard his food glorifying Allah as he ate it.
