Ma’qil ibn Yasar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Your Lord Almighty said: Son of Adam, be free for My worship. I will fill your heart with richness and fill your hands with provision. Son of Adam, do not distance yourself from Me, or else I will fill your heart with poverty and fill your hands with worthless distractions.”

عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ تَعَالَى ابْنَ آدَمَ تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي أَمْلَأْ قَلْبَكَ غِنًى وَامْلَأْ يَدَيْكَ رِزْقًا ابْنَ آدَمَ لَا تَبَاعَدْ عَنِّي فَأَمْلَأْ قَلْبَكَ فَقْرًا وَأَمْلَأْ يَدَيْكَ شُغْلًا
