Abu Bashir reported: He was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in one of his travels. The Prophet sent a messenger, saying, “Do not leave a stringed necklace upon a camel, or any necklace, but that you cut it off.” Malik said, “I think they were for protection from the evil eye.”
