Abu Bakr on Muhammad: The Prophet will never die twice

Aisha reported: Abu Bakr came riding on his horse from his dwelling in al-Sunuh until he arrived and entered the mosque. He did not speak to people until he entered the home of Aisha while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was covered with a shroud. Abu Bakr lifted the shroud from his face and knelt down and kissed him, then he wept. Abu Bakr said, “May my father be ransomed for you. By Allah, Allah will never make you die twice. As for the death Allah has decreed for you, it has come to pass.”
