Abdullah ibn Amr reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he asked him about the best of deeds. The Prophet said, “Prayer.” The man said, “Then what?” The Prophet said, “Then prayer.” The man said, “Then what?” The Prophet said, “Then prayer.” He said it three times. The man said, “Then what?” The Prophet said, “Then jihad in the way of Allah.”
