Hadith on Killing: The Prophet disavows himself from treachery, murder

‘Amr ibn al-Hamiq reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whenever a man promises safety for another man’s life and then kills him, I disavow myself from him even if the victim was an unbeliever.

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَمِنَ رَجُلًا عَلَى دَمِهِ ثُمَّ قَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا مِنْ الْقَاتِلِ بَرِيءٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ الْمَقْتُولُ كَافِرًا
