Abu ‘Awn reported: Whenever the people of virtue would meet, they would enjoin each other with three sayings, and if they departed one another, they would write to each other with three sayings, “Whoever works for his Hereafter, Allah will suffice him in his worldly life. Whoever sets right what is between Allah and himself, Allah will suffice him among the people. Whoever sets right his inner-self, Allah will set right his outer-self.”
