Hisham reported: ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “O my son, do not fall into the habit of cursing others. Have you not seen that Abraham never cursed anyone? As Allah said: When he came to his Lord with a pure heart.” (37:84)
